CE Pro 100 Integrators Summit Searches for Industry's Best Practice Models

Summit's Best Practice Awards Program Now Accepting Entries

July 19, 2010 – Today, the CE Pro 100 Summit announced that its Best Practice Awards Program is now open for application.

Each year, the awards program recognizes companies implementing management procedures that have achieved excellent results, and thus, set examples for the industry at large. The 2010 selected winners will receive exposure in the CE Pro magazine, on the Summit Web site and in a panel presentation live at the Summit. In addition to brand exposure, winners will also receive an award and a $500 cash prize.

The Best Practice Awards Program has been acknowledged as a platform for recognition and opportunity for learning in the industry.

The awards program will recognize five companies for their best practices in:

  • Financial, Legal and Human Capital Management
  • New Technology Implementation
  • Production Management (Design and Installation)
  • Profit-Generating Strategies
  • Sales and Marketing Management

"Winning the production management category last year was a great accomplishment. It gave ETC an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the custom electronics integration industry and we also learned a lot from winners in some of the other categories," says Bill Maronet, president and owner of Environmental Technology Control (ETC). "The Best Practice Awards Program provides the time for us all to step back and not only recognize, but analyze, the best practices of other companies. We have implemented some of these practices and they have really helped us go above and beyond in the industry."

Submissions to the awards program can be made at www.cepro100summit.com/awards/bpa and requires no application fee. The deadline for all applications is Friday, Aug 27.

All CE Pro 100-listed companies are eligible to compete in the program. Additionally, companies doing similar dollar volume ($2 million annual revenue or better in custom integration) that were not on the 2010 list may also submit best practices for consideration into the program.
