CE Pro 100 Summit Tackles Information Age Marketing

Summit's General Session Promises to Deliver

March 13, 2010 – Today, the CE Pro 100 Summit officially announced details of its opening general session for the upcoming event. The event, which guarantees quality vendor interaction with the best and brightest companies in the custom electronics industry, will hold its opening general session, ÒMarketing in an Information Age," on Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 7:30AM to 9:00AM.

With the days of custom electronics integrators using word-of-mouth referrals as their primary marketing tactic long passed, this general session, sponsored by Nuvo Technologies, will unveil the industry's best practice marketing models. Jamie Sassier of Netsertive will moderate the discussion, while David Young, president of The Sound Room and Michael Pope, president of Audio Video Interiors, Inc., will serve as panelists.

"I'm very excited to participate in the general session this year," says David Young. "This opportunity to sit with peers and discuss information age marketing is priceless. As we all know, the game of marketing has evolved. I'll share my two cents on the issue and I'm looking forward to hearing what the other panelists have to say, as well."

As today's leaders are increasingly turning to online and technology-based tools and techniques to get the job done, this presentation promises to walk through the ways in which websites, e-mail marketing, social media platforms and CRM systems can be leveraged to generate leads, build trust, and manage the sales process for measurable results.

"Marketing to our consumers can no longer start and end with word-of-mouth referrals," says Michael Pope. "And unfortunately, the business leaders who are still living by that marketing model will no longer be able to compete in this market. Consumers want to know more about the products and businesses they patronize. Technology-based tools like email marketing and social media outreach can help us to give our consumers that information while building brand trust."

The CE Pro 100 Integrators Summit, produced by AE Ventures for CE Pro magazine/EH Publishing, brings together custom electronics industry VIPs for executive-level education and vendor/sponsor meetings.
